Vivienne Jupp


Vivienne Jupp is the Chair of the Accenture Institute for Public Services Value and the Chair of CIE.  For the period 1996 to 2007, she held a variety of global management director roles in Accenture reporting to the CEO of the Government Operating Group.
 
During her career with Accenture, she has led a succession of major projects which have harnessed technology to effect business change.
 
In addition to her leadership role within Accenture, in 1996, Vivienne chaired the Information Society Strategy Committee which developed a strategy and action plan aimed at ensuring that Ireland maximises the opportunities presented by the emerging Information Society.  She subsequently chaired the Information Society Commission from 1997 to 2000.
 
Vivienne is a board member of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland, the Review Body on Higher Remuneration in the Public Sector, the Irish Hospice Foundation, and a member of the finance committee of Concern Worldwide.
 
She graduated from University College Dublin with BComm and MBS degrees.  In 2000, she received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, UCD.
