Mike Corrigan is an experienced media and entertainment executive with 25 years of extensive responsibilities in operations, strategic planning, finance and administration. He is currently a consultant to a number of privately held entertainment entities and to investors in that sector. He has extensive global business experience, particularly in the development of strategy, execution of transactions and general management.
Previously, Corrigan was a co-founder and partner in Shelbourne Capital Partners LLC, a boutique financial advisory firm. Shelbourne was engaged primarily in assisting the growth of companies focused on new media entertainment and distribution opportunities with particular emphasis on the application of proprietary technologies to that sector.
Prior to the formation of Shelbourne, Corrigan was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Metro Goldwyn Mayer Inc (MGM), a major Hollywood studio. At MGM, Corrigan had strategic, financial and administrative responsibility for the studio and its holding in UIP, then the largest global theatrical film distributor. Corrigan also had operational responsibility for the Company’s interactive division and for production services and distribution.
Corrigan was previously a senior partner in the Entertainment, Media and Communications practice at Price Waterhouse LLP. In that firm, he had various responsibilities, including lead account partner for significant client relationships such as The Walt Disney Company, The Interpublic Group of Companies and Sony Music. He was also responsible for global strategic planning for the Entertainment, Media and Communications practice. He formerly managed the firm’s West Coast Corporate Finance practice.
Corrigan is also a member of the Board of Directors of ACME Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:ACME) and is a member of the Board of Managers of Tropicana Entertainment Holdings Inc. He is former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Atari, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATAR).
Mr Corrigan is a graduate of the Law School of Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
