Ann Riordan


Ann Riordan held senior executive roles in the IT sector in the UK and Ireland prior to setting up Microsoft Ireland in 1990. Having built the business and the brand successfully in Ireland she retired from Microsoft in 2001.

She has served on the Information Society Steering Committee and the Irish Council for Science, Technology & Innovation. 

She is currently President of the Institute of Directors in Ireland, Chairman of the Dublin Regional Tourism Authority and the National Standards Authority of Ireland.  Ann also serves as non executive director on the boards of Tourism Ireland Limited and the EBS Building Society.

She is a fellow of the Irish Computer Society.
