UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is well served by Dublin’s public transport system.
Dublin Bus provides a number of bus services to the surrounding areas and suburbs. UCD Smurfit School students should look for bus lines that serve the village of Blackrock, which is within walking distance of our campus.
The DART runs along Dublin Bay from Howth in the north to Greystones in the south. The line runs through the city centre and stops in Blackrock village to the south.
The LUAS tram system serves the city centre and surrounding areas. The Green Line connects Sandyford to St Stephen’s Green; and the Red Line connects Tallaght to Connolly Station.
Irish Rail operates train services from the two main train stations in Dublin. Trains serving the south and west arrive and depart from Heuston Station, which is also serviced by the LUAS. Trains serving the north, north west and south east arrive and depart at Connolly Station, which is on the DART line.
ITranslink lists all the travel options by bus and rail in Northern Ireland.
Bus Eireann operates bus services from Dublin to the rest of Ireland from Busaras, the central bus station on Amiens Street.
Dublin Airport is around 12km north of the city centre and there are both public and private buses serving the route from the airport to the city centre.
