The UCD Business Alumni Crystal Ball in association with Premier Group took place on Friday 16th May at the fabulous Four Seasons Hotel, D4. The Alumni Ball is the flagship event in the business alumni social calendar and is targeted at graduates from 1993, 1998 and 2003. Guests were greeted with a drinks reception followed by a sumptuous four course meal. There were some wonderful surprises throughout the evening including the opportunity to win a stunning 18ct triple loop diamond pendant worth over €1,000 and supplied exclusively by Wilkinson Jewellers. Thanks to our wonderful raffle sponsors, UCD Business Alumni raised over €5,000 for the UCD New Era Fund which is a fund set up for disadvantaged students to help them through their college life. UCD New ERA aims to encourage and facilitate increased participation in higher education by students who, for a variety of economic or social reasons are under-represented in university. The entertainment for the evening was provided by the hugely entertaining Mario Rosenstock, creator of Gift Grub and music will follow by ‘Boogie Allstars’, the fabulous 70s tribute band. The UCD Business Alumni ‘Crystal Ball was held with thanks to Premier Group, Business & Finance, An Post, Tipperary Crystal, Seabridge Ireland and Clarion Hotels Ireland.
