Dr. Jacob Eisenberg elected Chair of MED

Dr. Jacob Eisenberg, Senior Lecturer at the UCD School of Business, has been elected by the international membership of the Academy of Management to lead the Management Education & Development Division (MED). He will serve as Chair of the MED Division in the fourth year (2013 – 2014) of the five-year term. Jacob is the first UCD academic to be elected as Chair of an Academy Division.
The Academy of Management is the largest and most influential academic management organisation in the world, representing nearly 20,000 members from thousands of universities in more than 100 countries. Of Academy’s 25 divisions, MED is one of the largest ten divisions with 1895 current members. In this leadership role, Jacob will work with others to positively impact the scholarship and professional development of scholars, students and practitioners belonging to the Division with a special focus on Academy’s Annual Meeting, which was attended by over 10,000 people last year.
