Biography:
John Geary is Professor of Industrial Relations and Human Resources at UCD School of Business. He is a graduate of NUI Maynooth and obtained his D.Phil (Sociology) at the University of Oxford (Nuffield College). John worked at Warwick Business School prior to coming to UCD. He was Jean Monett Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence in 2001-2002, and in 2008 was Visiting Professor at the Fondazione "Marco Biagi", Scuola Internazionale di alta formazione in Relazioni Industriali e di Lavoro, Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia. As well as teaching and researching industrial relations and human resource management, John is director of the Doctoral Studies Programme at the UCD School of Business.
