Professor Tom Begley is currently the Dean of the UCD School of Business, which includes UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and UCD Quinn Business School.
The word ‘welcome’ is defined in my dictionary as a greeting of people or ideas. And that’s what UCD Smurfit School is all about. The coming together of like minded people of many nationalities to forge, fuse and welcome new thinking that will shape the world we live in. The sharing of ideas is at the core of the School’s pre-eminence.
Our world class team of professors take learning outside the remits of academia to provide a degree of personal interaction and mentorship that is unique to our school. Our range of expertise is reflected in our success.
We’re the leading business school in Ireland and compete with the best in Europe. We’ve achieved the triple crown of accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA and we are consistently ranked in the Top 100 business schools in the world by the Financial Times.
Despite its recent economic challenges, Ireland is still an exciting country to live, study and work in. As a small open economy closely attuned to global affairs, Ireland offers a distinctive vantage point to the world. And UCD Smurfit School provides the window. So, a warm welcome to our unique and beautiful campus.
