Biography:

Dr. Cormac Mac Fhionnlaoich is interested in the interaction of corporate finance and strategic decision making. His current research examines the impact of financial distress on competitive behavior. Other research interests include product market behavior, strategic risk measurement and corporate governance. Dr. Mac Fhionnlaoich was programme director for the Executive MBA between 1998 and 2002 and in 1999 received one of the university's President's Research Awards for joint work being conducted with colleagues in the Faculty of Law.
