UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is happy to advise students on their on-campus and off-campus accommodation options.
Proby House Residences
Situated on the UCD Smurfit School Campus in the prime residential suburb of Blackrock, the Proby House Residences are particularly suited to students undertaking postgraduate courses at UCD Smurfit School. Warm, friendly and cosmopolitan, this development consists of two or six bedroom apartments, fully furnished with individual ensuite facilities and study spaces.
Glenomena Residences
Located on the main Belfield Campus, approximately two miles from Blackrock, Glenomena has become a focus for postgraduate living. Designed around a series of interconnected courtyards, it provides the ideal combination of secure privacy within a woodland setting. It consists of six bedroom apartments, each with ensuite facilities. The apartments contain generously sized living areas and kitchen/dining spaces. They are also enabled with wireless LAN computer networking.
Off-campus rented accommodation is usually furnished and rents range from €110 per week upwards for a room in a house being shared by 3-4 people (excluding heating and electricity bills). A deposit equal to one month’s rent along with payment of one month’s rent in advance is usually required to secure your letting.
There is enormous demand for accommodation in the areas of Dublin surrounding UCD, so it is advisable to arrive at least 2-3 weeks before the term begins in order to find suitable accommodation.
