About the Smurfit School Careers Service
Getting the right job is pretty simple in theory. In practice, it requires a lot of hard work and persistence and also a very positive attitude. The Careers Service has the knowledge and experience necessary to help you develop your career strategy.
We provide services such as advice on interview preparation, CV writing, psychometric testing and general job search strategy. In our office, we have numerous files on industries, job functions and specific companies, as well as guides on career planning and careers related subjects. Please call in and we will endeavour to help. The careers office newsletter, containing up-to-date information on company recruiting activity, is published 5-6 times a year. Copies are available in the careers office and online at www.ucd.ie/careers. Our careers advisors are available Monday to Friday and are happy to discuss any aspect of your career development. Students can benefit from the expertise of our teams in both Belfield and Blackrock.
