Comprehensive Student Support

Flexible Programme Delivery

This programme offers an opportunity to undertake a part-time distance learning programme of study, with limited class attendance, while you continue to pursue your career objectives.  A limited number of modules may be delivered online.

Distance learning offers the flexibility for participants to study at any time and anywhere, whether in Ireland or abroad. This programme consists of two years part-time study, with approximately eight weekends on campus each year, scheduled in 2-day blocks on Fridays and Saturdays. eLearning tools provide students with access to all course material with a discussion board and chat-room facilitating ongoing interaction with each other.

Student Support

Support structures are available to assist you in undertaking this programme, including;

Personal Tutor

A personal tutor will be available every week day to provide you with individual advice on course matters through our telephone, email and drop-in service. Tutors will support you to develop a writing technique, suggest supplementary reading and provide additional assignment feedback (where required).

Study Guides

You will receive a comprehensive study guide for each module which includes a study map, assignment information and suggestions on what to study weekly. We recommend between 12-16 hours study per week. Students can access their study guides online, also using ‘Blackboard’.

Studying with your classmates provides a source of encouragement and support. We will help you to organise a study group, regardless of location.

Broad learning

The programme offers a broad range of business related subjects in the areas of marketing, management, law, human resource management and many more.

Specialised projects

Master in Management students will complete a project as part of the programme. The project will be undertaken within a selected industry. It will concentrate on a management-related topic. Students will be able to focus on an industry of their choice and select a suitable format for the project.
