Centre for Corporate Governance at UCD

To meet the growing educational needs of company directors, the Centre for Corporate Governance at UCD, was established in 2002.

The Centre runs the Director Development Programme which consists of courses for Irish company directors covering all aspects of corporate governance, from the role of the individual director through to business strategy and company boards.

The Centre also offers Customised Courses which are tailor-made for the particular needs of the Board of Directors of individual companies. These courses are co-designed by the Academic Director of the Centre and your Board of Directors.

The Diploma in Corporate Governance, a one-year, part-time accredited programme leading to a UCD qualification in corporate governance is now in its eighth year. The next intake on the diploma programme will be in September 2012.

The Centre's Research facility actively promotes research in the area of corporate governance and publishes papers and reports in this regard.

The Academic Director of the Centre is Professor Niamh Brennan, Michael MacCormac Professor of Management, UCD Business Schools.
