Michael Boyce

Michael has a background in the Financial Services industry including stockbroking, fund management and administration. Previously he was Executive Director of Northern Trust Investor Services (Ireland) Limited [formerly Ulster Bank Investment Services Limited (UBIS)] Michael is a member of the Securities Institute and is currently an Independent Director for clients with Irish Domiciled Investment Funds.


Brian Brady

Brian spent 27 years in Banking- latterly in Financial Markets. He was Executive Director of both Ulster Bank Group Treasury and Ulster Bank Markets. Brian worked with JMH Treasury in debt Securitisations. He is a full time Non-Executive Director in the Listed Debt Securities field (SPVs). He holds a number of SPV Directorships.


Eamonn Brennan

Eamonn has had a 40 year career in insurance and formed BRW Insurance & Financial Services in 1975, handling the insurance portfolio of corporates of all sizes. Marsh Ireland bought BRW in 1997 and Eamonn continued there as MD until retirement in 2004. He is NED with a number of Captive Insurance Companies.


Stephen Casey

Stephen is Finance Director and Company Secretary at IMS MAXIMS plc. He holds the FCCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and AITI (Institute of Taxation) qualifications. Stephen holds a BA in Mathematics & History from Trinity College and an MBA from UCD.


John Coman

John is Corporate and Legal Affairs Secretary in University College Dublin. He is responsible for compliance, insurances, contracts and legal work. He is Company Secretary to all University-owned companies. He previously worked in Jacobs Biscuits and the Department of Finance. John is a Chartered Secretary and holds an MBA.


Tony Condon

Tony is Director of Development – UCD College of Business and Law. He is Chairman of Age Action Ireland and a board member of The Incorporated Orthopaedic Hospital of Ireland and The Friends of St Luke’s Cancer Hospital . He has a background in Strategic Marketing and has worked for CTT ( Enterprise Ireland ), Diageo and Aviva. He holds a BBS and MA from TCD.


Peter Cripwell

Peter is currently studying for a PhD in finance at UCD. Before becoming a student (again) he was the Chief Investment Officer and
executive director at Pioneer Alternative Investments. Prior to that he worked in finance and as a physicist. He has a B.Sc from UCD and a PhD from Imperial College, London.


Stephen Curran

Stephen is the General Manager, Business Strategy & Marketing at Ordnance Survey Ireland . Prior to joining OSI, he worked in various production ,sales and marketing roles in the chemical/ manufacturing sectors within Ireland , UK , Europe and Africa. Stephen holds at B’Eng (Chemical Engineering ) from Queens and an MBA in International Business from UU.


David Dinn

David is Finance Director and Company Secretary of PH McCarthy Consulting Engineers with responsibility for the finance, Information Technology and Administration departments of the company. Prior to this, he spent a number of years in accounting practice before taking the role as financial Controller with Project Architects, a large Architectural Firm in Ireland .


Michael Duffy

Michael is a qualified accountant currently working as Finance Officer in the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland. Prior to joining the BCI in 2004, he worked in the financial services and practice areas. Michael holds a BA Economics & Finance from NUI Maynooth.


Geraldine Fitzpatrick

Geraldine is a career Civil Servant and is currently a Principal Officer in the Department of Health and Children - Policy Support Unit. She previously worked in the Department of Marine and the Office of the Ombudsman. Geraldine holds an MBA from UCD and a BSc from TCD.


Mary Flaherty

Mary has 10 years experience in the Company Secretarial area and is currently Assistant Company Secretary in FBD Holdings plc. Prior to this she worked in the Isle of Man for an International Corporate Service provider where she offered specialist advice on various aspects of Irish Company Law to international clients.


Lisa Flynn

Lisa is Company Secretary of Bank of Scotland ( Ireland ) Limited. Prior to joining BOSI, she held company secretarial roles within BDO Simpson Xavier, Ernst & Young and International Fund Managers ( Ireland ). Lisa is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and holds a BBS from Trinity College.


Jacqueline Hall

Jacqueline is Managing Director of Political Communications Ltd, a public affairs consultancy. The company works on behalf of clients in the energy, media, retail, food and waste management/recycling sectors. She is a member of the Council of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. She holds a BA from UCD and a Graduateship in Marketing.


Michael Kelly

Michael is Chairman of the Higher Education Authority. Previous appointments include Deputy Secretary, Dept of Justice, Equality and Law Reform and Secretary General, Dept. of Health and Children. He is a board member of the ESRI and Digital Hub Development Agency. Michael holds a B Comm from UCD and an MSc(Policy Analysis) from TCD.


Louise Kenny

Louise has worked for the last 18 years in the Department of Health and Children where she is now Assistant Principal. She is currently working in the Policy Support Unit which is responsible for supporting the Department in its monitoring role of the HSE including service planning arrangements, performance measurement and governance issues.


Garret Murray

Garrett is a Seed and Venture Capital Executive with Enterprise Ireland . Prior to this he was a Policy Analyst with Forfás, working with the boards of the NCC and the NCA. He has also lectured in management in I.T. Tallaght. Garrett holds an MBS from UCD.


Bernard Neeson

Bernard is an advisor and non executive director for a number of technology companies. Previous positions include Director of Sales & Business Development at Silicon & Software Systems (S3), Regional Sales Manager for IBM Microelectronics, and Head of Banking and Financial Services sector in IBM Ireland. Bernard holds a BSc from QUB


Amhairgin NiLaoi

Amhairgin is Secretary to the Board and Buildings Manager for the Irish Medicines Board, the regulator for human and veterinary medical products in Ireland. Her career spans the private and public sectors as she has managed departments in Iomega, Compaq, HP, and most recently the Customer Services Centre in Dublin City Council.


Tom O’Reilly

Tom is a certified public accountant and worked in accountancy and auditing before joining Martin Butterly and Co Shipbrokers, where he is currently Managing Director. He is a director of the Drogheda Port Company and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.


Simon O’Sullivan

Simon has previously worked for Pioneer Alternative Investments, Merrion Capital Group, Robert Fleming & Co. ( London ) and Eagle Star Life Assurance Company. Simon is currently working for D O'Sullivan Graphics Supplies Ltd. He is a non-executive director of four investment companies.


Paddy Prendergast

Paddy is the former Group Managing Director of the Boyne Valley Group where his career spanned a period of 22 years and he continues in a part-time Director role. His career started in the semi-State sector with ACC and IDA. Paddy qualified as an accountant and holds a BComm from UCD.


Grainne Walsh

Grainne has a background in financial services and is currently General Manager and Director of Deka International ( Ireland ) Ltd. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds a BSc from TCD.
