Message from the Programme Director

Welcome to the Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching. As Programme Director, I am delighted that this new coaching programme is now underway signalling an important collaboration between UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and Peter Bluckert Coaching.

This is the only postgraduate awarded programme in corporate coaching in Ireland at this time. Based around the three higher level competency areas of business mindedness, coaching skills and psychological mindedness, it has been run in a similar format in the UK over a 10 year period and has over 300 graduates. In addition, it carries the important Level 7 Practitioner Accreditation with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). It is designed for executives and senior managers, HR Directors and specialists, OD and training managers and consultants/coaches.

The content and approach of the programme has a strong psychological orientation as well as equipping you with a range of coaching theory and practice skills. It also has a strong personal development dimension to it.
