Message from the Programme Director

Welcome to the Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching. As Programme Director, I am delighted that this coaching programme is now a well established collaboration between UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and PB Coaching. Based around the three higher level competency areas of business mindedness, coaching skills and psychological mindedness, it has been running at UCD Smurfit School since October 2007 and now has over eighty graduates. Some of these have also gone on to complete the next stage which is the Diploma in Advanced Business & Executive Coaching, concentrating on the psychological aspects of coaching.

This Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching carries the important Level 7 Advanced Practitioner Accreditation with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). It is designed for executives and senior managers, HR directors and specialists, OD and training managers and consultants/coaches. The content and approach of the programme has a strong psychological orientation as well as equipping you with a range of coaching theory and practice skills. It also has a strong personal development dimension to it.
