Who is the MSc in Supply Chain Management for?

Supply chain management is the management of all the activities in business networks. This means managing the resources and relationships of not just your company but also your suppliers and your customers.  Supply chain management is one of the fastest-growing business professions and gives companies a strong competitive advantage. The MSc in Supply Chain Management is designed to help you succeed in this complex and varied environment.  As well as modules on supply chain skills you will also take part in a supply chain consulting project with the leading companies in Ireland and internationally.  This will give you real experience of supply chain issues as well as a great boost to your hiring potential. 

 

Course objective

We teach you to develop your thinking and management skills across the entire supply chain, including supplier development and management, innovation generation, customer relationship management and systems thinking.

What will I learn?

You will learn the skills and techniques you need to succeed in supply chain management: strategy, management, leadership, critical thinking, negotiating and organisational skills.  Through the supply chain consulting project you will also learn the skills of scoping, planning, managing and executing a consulting project, communicating with senior managers, and delivering consulting solutions.
