Teaching methods

While predominately care study based, we use a range of teaching methods including lectures, seminars, role-playing, guest speakers, simulations and practical projects.

Class profile

The Executive MBA Programme attracts a diverse set of candidates from a wide range of healthcare backgrounds, including doctors, nurses, administrators and allied health professionals from the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. The average age is mid-30s.

Each student typically has seven to 10 years' work experience, with an aim to fast-tracking their career towards more senior and general management roles.

Class size

Our classes are small, with an average of 40 students, and they are divided into learning teams of five or six people. Individual and team-based assignments form the backbone of the course through lectures, casework and projects, and we stress the use of technology in learning.

Support services

Our dedicated programme team is there to help you make the most of your learning experience. We can assist with everything from the practicalities of becoming a student again to one-on-one career advice.
