MBA Careers

The MBA Career Service aims to assist our MBA participants in building long-term career strategies.  We will give you the career-related skills, know-how and confidence to pursue your post-MBA career goals.

The MBA Careers Manager is available to help you identify career opportunities and provide support, partnership and professional trust.

Our services

Our MBA participants have access to facilities to help research potential jobs. In tandem, our Career and Personal and Professional Development Programme helps you develop the skills required by senior managers. It covers presentation, team working and leadership skills as well as job search strategies, CVs and interviewing skills.

We also help you to take advantage of our strong links with the business community, corporate leaders and our network of UCD Smurfit School Alumni.

Post MBA Career

Smurfit MBA participants succeed in significantly advancing their careers, as evidenced in the data published in the Financial Times 2011 Rankings. This prestigious ranking recorded a salary percentage increase of 72 per cent for the surveyed class.

Equally important is the change in career direction realised by our participants, whether in terms of job function or industry/sector.
