Newstalk UCD Smurfit School MBA Scholarship
UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is delighted to partner with Newstalk’s “The Right Hook” to offer listeners the chance to win a scholarship to cover full tuition fees for a full-time MBA or part-time Executive MBA at UCD Smurfit School, worth €29,500.
Over three weeks from Tuesday May 3rd to May 20th listeners have the chance to answer 3 GMAT questions as provided. Applicants for the scholarship must answer all three questions correctly, submit a short essay and complete an online application form. Successful applicants of this stage will be asked to submit a full MBA application form, these will be assessed and successful candidates will be invited for interview. The best candidate will win the overall scholarship prize.
The closing date for entries is Monday May 23rd at 5pm.
To enter the competition, you must fulfil at a minimum the following criteria:
- You must have a university degree or equivalent professional qualification and a minimum of three years' professional experience.
- You must answer correctly all three GMAT questions
- You must complete a short essay entitled ‘Tell us in 500 words why you deserve to win the Newstalk MBA Scholarship 2011’.
- You must upload an up-to-date copy of your CV
- You must have already taken or be prepared to take at short notice the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Admission to the programme will be conditional on satisfying the GMAT requirements of the MBA programme at UCD Smurfit School. Further information at www.mba.com
- Successful entrants will be invited to complete an MBA application if they have not already done so
- A panel of judges will then select a third-round short list, based on applications. These candidates will be interviewed.
- The Newstalk scholarship will be awarded to the highest calibre candidate selected from the applications received, subject to their meeting, at a minimum, the standard entry requirements of the UCD Smurfit School MBA programme.
