What is the MSc in Business & Executive Coaching Pathway?

The UCD Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching, UCD Diploma in Advanced Business & Executive Coaching and the UCD Diploma in Team Coaching all form part of the MSc in Business & Executive Coaching pathway.

You must complete two out of three of our coaching Diplomas, and for your third Diploma you have a choice of the Diploma in Leadership Development, the Diploma in Organisational Change and Transformation or whichever Coaching Diploma you did not do as your second, either the Diploma in Team Coaching or the Diploma in Advanced Business and Executive Coaching.

By completing these three Diplomas within a recommended 5-year timeframe, you will earn 90 credits (the national standard for a Masters Qualification) and will be conferred with the qualification of MSc Business & Executive Coaching accredited & awarded by UCD at NFQ Level 9.

Pathway 1: MSc in Business & Executive Coaching

Participants wishing to complete the MSc Business and Executive Coaching programme must complete two of the following three coaching programmes:

Professional Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching (30 ECTS)
Professional Diploma in Advanced Business & Executive Coaching (30 ECTS)
Professional Diploma in Team Coaching (30 ECTS)

PLUS any one of the following programmes:

Diploma in Organisational Change and Transformation (30 ECTS)
Diploma in Leadership Development (30 ECTS)
Professional Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching (30 ECTS)
Diploma in Advanced Business & Executive Coaching (30 ECTS)
Diploma in Team Coaching (30 ECTS)

within ideally 5-year timeframe, they are awarded with the MSc in Business & Executive Coaching.

A key feature of the MSc pathway is its flexible timeframe, which allows you to tailor your participation around work/life demands. Whereas each of the individual diplomas takes approximately 10-12 months to complete, we advise participants of a 5-year window within which to ideally complete all three steps and be awarded the MSc in Business & Executive Coaching.

Each individual diploma is priced separately and each individual diploma is eligible for tax relief if the fees are self-funded.
