Scholarships

Please note that the following scholarships are only available on the Master of Business Studies specialist programmes, MSc in International Business, MSc in eBusiness, MSc in Marketing and MSc in Management & Organisation Studies.

6 regional merit based partial scholarships - €5000 each 

Region 1: Asia and Australasia
Region 2: Central and Eastern Europe
Region 3: North and Central America
Region 4: Western Europe
Region 5: Middle East and Africa
Region 6: discretionary

  • Applicants must submit a 300 word (max) essay with their programme application on "why I deserve a scholarship"
  • Scholarships will be awarded based on: undergraduate performance, merit, non-academic achievements and financial need
  • Closing Date 30th April 2008
  • Applications will be judged by a panel of academics and professional staff in UCD Smurfit School
  • Should the scholarship be awarded it will be based on successfully meeting all standard programme entry requirements
  • Candidates must be prepared to attend an interview (for those based internationally this can be arranged by video conference/telephone).
  • Scholarships are valid across the MBS streams, MSc in Intermational Business, MSc in Marketing, MSc in eBusiness and MSc in Management & Organisation Studies.

Merit/Hardship based partial scholarships

  • Applicants must submit a 300 word (max) essay with their programme application on "why I deserve a scholarship"
  • Should the scholarship be awarded it will be based on successfully meeting all standard programme entry requirements
  • Bursaries are available at the discretion of the Committee for candidates who demonstrate through their application and essay that they are deserving based on merit (non-academic achievements eg. Sports, community activities, charity work, overcoming obstacles) or financial need
  • Closing Date April 30th 2008
  • Candidates must be prepared to attend an interview
  • Scholarships are valid across the MBS streams, MSc in Intermational Business, MSc in Marketing, MSc in eBusiness and MSc in Management & Organisation Studies.

1 x Quinn Commerce Scholarship - €11,100 (programme fees are subject to change)

  • Applicants must submit a 300 word (max) essay with their programme application on "why I deserve the Smurfit School scholarship."
  • Candidates must be prepared to attend an interview.
  • Based on academic performance over their time at UCD Quinn school, non-academic achievements will also be taken into account.
  • Should the scholarship be awarded it will be based on successfully meeting all standard programme entry requirements
  • Applications for scholarship must be submitted by April 30th 2008.
  • Scholarships are valid across the MBS streams, MSc in Intermational Business, MSc in Marketing, MSc in eBusiness and MSc in Management & Organisation Studies.
