Programme highlights
- National Institute of Technology Management support: The School’s programmes in Innovation and Technology Management (MSc, Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate), delivered in conjunction with the School of Engineering, are organised by the National Institute of Technology Management.
- Collaboration: The NITM, initiated and supported by Enterprise Ireland, is Ireland’s flagship organisation for teaching and research in the management of technological innovation. It is a collaborative venture between the School of Business and the School of Engineering.
- International competitiveness: The MSc programme is designed to train the professionals who will drive the transformation of Irish-based companies to international competitiveness based on continuous innovation using technology.
- Real company experience: The programme is aimed at established professionals who are active in the process of innovation: engineers and scientists in R&D, manufacturing or service systems; marketing and others engaged in the commercialisation of new products, processes or intellectual property.
- European Institute of Technology and Innovation Management support: The MSc draws on UCD’s strengths in business, engineering and computer science, and in the life sciences. It also draws on its contacts internationally: MIT and the members of the European Institute of Technology and Innovation Management.
- Awards: Outstanding students of the MSc are recognised by the award of the James Crowley memorial medal and recently by the PWC Medal.
