Visas

Some students will require an entry visa for Ireland. All students from outside the EU/EEA must comply with Irish immigration requirements, which can be different for every country.  Please visit this link for further information.

Stamp 1G

The Third Level Graduate Programme (Stamp 1G) allows non-EU/EEA students who have graduated* from Irish higher education institutions after 1st January 2017, with a Level 8 or above degree (bachelor’s, masters or doctorate), to remain in Ireland to seek employment.  Please visit this link for more information on the Stamp 1G programme

*While the INIS regulations refer to ‘graduated’, students generally apply for this scheme following the issuing of successful examination/degree results. In UCD the graduation ceremony takes place some months after the issuing of results.
