How to Apply

Applications are welcomed from all graduates. Although fluency in a second language is not essential, some placements will require fluency in a second language (for example French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Japanese or Chinese).

There are 30 places available on this programme. Interested participants must be available if selected to take part in the interview and assessment process around April/ May 2019 in Dublin (attendance on one day is required - exact dates to be confirmed) and if successful must be ready to commence the programme 8th July 2019.

Although fluency in certain foreign languages is required for particular markets this is not an absolute requirement as there are also English speaking locations. Fluency is required for markets such as French/German/Dutch/Spanish/Italian/Russian/Polish or Chinese. English speaking locations include: UK/USA/U.A.E. /Holland/Sweden. Note: locations are subject to confirmation.

 

Successful entry onto the programme involves the completion of an application form, psychometric tests and an assessment centre. Upon completion of the application form, successful shortlisted candidates are invited to complete each subsequent phase of the selection process.

It is a requirement that the graduates are willing/able to live in a foreign country, and travel in-market.

Participants on the programme have their tuition fees paid in full and, in addition, receive a bursary of €19,200 per 12 months during their time on the programme. (Bursary is approximate and depends on the location assigned).

Postgraduate Diploma in International Business (Bord Bia) is awarded by UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School upon completion of the programme. This is a Level 9 NFQ qualification.
