You wouldn’t blame him: the promo pens are from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a testament to the octogenarian businessman’s quarter-century as benefactor to the south Dublin institute.
“This is one of the better business decisions I have made in my life,” says Smurfit, gesturing around a classroom in the school’s executive development centre, which has just had a €5m overhaul. “The school makes very good money; if I look back, I should probably have tried to joint-venture with it.” To read full article please click here.
