MBA student Caitlin McBride leads communication for predicted record breaking Irish Daffodil Days
Current Full-Time MBA student and communications expert Caitlin McBride led the ambassadors communications strategy for the 2021 Daffodil Days which raises essential funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
McBride championed efforts including Friday’s Late Late Show special which featured ‘Pop twins Jedward shave quiffs to help raise €2.6m for Irish Cancer Society’. The show raised close to €3 million for the organisation which is, according to their website, a “community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers … transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through our advocacy, support services and research.”
This year’s Irish Daffodil Days fundraising efforts are set to become the biggest on record.
Congratulations to Caitlin and all those involved in supporting the Irish Cancer Society!
