The Executive MBA gives you the flexibility to maintain your career momentum and earning power while you study. Working while you study also means you have the opportunity to make swift gains in the workplace by applying what you learn on an ongoing basis. Many participants on the Executive MBA change roles within their organisation either during the programme or shortly after. Some graduates choose to use their MBA to pursue opportunities with new employers on completion of the programme.
In 2020, the Financial Times ranked The Smurfit Executive MBA in 62nd position in the prestigious global FT rankings, and calculated that our EMBA graduates’ earnings grew by 66% in the 3 years after graduation. UCD Smurfit School’s Executive MBA is the only programme in Ireland listed in this prestigious ranking.
Over the past few years, our MBA graduates have secured new roles in a large number of organisations, including: McKinsey, Google, Novartis, LinkedIn, Accenture, Amazon, Facebook, Kellogg's, Hubspot, EY, Grant Thornton, Roche, PwC, Glanbia, Salesforce, Mainstream Renewable Power, CRH and KPMG.

MBA Careers Service
We understand that our Executive MBA students require careers services which fit around their individual career plans and study timetable. That is why we now offer full access to our services both as students and within 12 months of graduating. Support is also available both on-campus and online.
Our events include intensive Careers Bootcamp, Networking and Personal Branding workshops which run twice a year, as well as networking opportunities with alumni. We also offer career planning, CV review, interview skills and LinkedIn training you can access anytime online. Many students take advantage of unlimited 1-2-1 career coaching. Finally, students will be invited to participate in the MBA CV Book, which we share with potential employers.
