UCD Smurfit School Executive Development will host Head Coach of Leinster Rugby Leo Cullen, Managing Director of Google UK and Ireland Ronan Harris and medical doctor and author Dr Mark Rowe to discuss ‘Empowering Leadership throughout an Organisation’ on Thursday, November 28.

Director of UCD Smurfit School Executive Development Helen Brophy will moderate the conversation which will offer a critical look at leadership and explore if by empowering leadership throughout an organisation it is possible to inspire purpose, drive direction and motivate action.

Head Coach of Leinster Rugby Leo Cullen said: “I’m looking forward to visiting the UCD Smurfit School to share some of my thoughts on empowering leadership within an organisation—obviously in my case, during my time as a player and now as a coach with Leinster Rugby. My views on leadership have been shaped by many years within the Leinster Rugby environment, from my time with Leicester Tigers, the Irish rugby team and with other sporting organisations. I’ve also learned from other coaches that I have spent time with from all walks of life and all manner of disciplines. I look forward to discussing those views with the room and hopefully learning something myself about how other organisations empower leadership.”
