QS Rankings sees MSc Supply Chain Management at 12th globally, 4 additional programmes in world top 40

The Executive MBA programme at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School has been ranked 64th globally in the highly reputed Financial Times 2023 Executive MBA Rankings.

The Financial Times ranks Executive MBA programmes based on several criteria as part of its analysis including average absolute salary increase, percentage of female students, and research, among others.

The average salary increase for a UCD Smurfit School EMBA graduate within three years of completing the programme is a 68% increase from when they graduated. The average salary for the School’s EMBA graduates three years after graduating is equivalent to a salary of US$179,852, making it the leader in Ireland.

Notably, the School’s research ranking is 65th globally and the national leader. This ranking is calculated according to the number of articles published by a School’s current fulltime faculty members in 50 academic and practitioner journals between January 2020 and May 2023.

In addition, the programme saw an increase of female students who entered the programme rising from 41% in 2021 to 45% in 2022. The School’s Modular EMBA has helped in this achievement as it designed with a flexible schedule suited to those juggling demanding careers, with young families or based outside of Dublin. The programme now has over 50% women in the 2023 cohort.

Enhancing the quality and diversity of UCD’s community is a primary objective in the University’s strategy and a key priority for the UCD College of Business. Targeted recruitment of a diverse student and faculty cohort has resulted in significant upticks in gender balance and increased faculty from around the globe.
