Biography :
Huong Hoang is a doctoral student in management at University College Dublin under Ad Astra Scholarship. Her work explores the intersection of international business, policy, and energy economics, with a focus on sustainable energy transitions in emerging markets. Huong holds an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London (academic direction by University College London) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Monash University Australia.
Before academia, Huong worked as a Senior Consultant at PwC Capital Projects and Infrastructure team, doing advisory projects across energy transition, transportation, economic development and policy for international development banks, multinational organizations, businesses and government stakeholders. She was selected to participate in the Academy of International Business–Centers for International Business Education and Research (AIB-CIBER) Doctoral Academy as a recipient of the Sheth Foundation Fellowship, a fully funded scholarship. Additionally, she has been awarded the Alan Rugman Memorial Funding to participate in the Henley Business School Masterclass at the University of Reading. She served as reviewers for Academy of Management (AoM) and European International Business Academy (EIBA) annual conferences.
