Biography :
Nanhong Qian is a dedicated PhD researcher in Finance, specializing in the intricate relationships between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and corporate financial decision. Her research primarily investigates the non-linear impact of ESG performance on the cost of capital – including both equity and debt – and explores how ESG influences the speed of adjustment (SOA) of corporate capital structures towards target leverage ratios.
