Biography:
Yuwei Wang is a full-time PhD student at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. His research interests lie in corporate finance, with a particular focus on venture capital (VC), private equity (PE), IPOs, and special purpose acquisition corporations (SPACs). He is currently conducting research on the characteristics of VC/PE and the performance of VC/PE-backed IPOs and SPACs. In addition to his studies, he serves as a tutor at Quinn's Business School.
Beyond finance, Yuwei maintains a broad interest in social science disciplines, believing that they provide valuable insights into understanding how the world functions.
