CEMS Graduation Ceremony, St. Petersburg

Congratulations to the CEMS graduating class of 2015! On Saturday 28 November 2015, 20 out of a total graduating class of 41 UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School students travelled to Russia to receive their CEMS diploma at a Graduation Ceremony in St. Petersburg. In total, 570 students from the CEMS community of 29 member schools took part in the ceremony, in the beautiful surroundings of the Mariinsky II Theatre.

The graduands enjoyed a number of speeches from CEMS alumni and corporate partners, with the key note speech being delivered by Mr John E. Pepper, former CEO P&G. Professor Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh, Dean UCD Business and CEMS Strategic Board Member, delivered the closing speech.

Over the course of the CEMS Annual Event, academic and corporate representatives, governing bodies, students and alumni from a variety of backgrounds met, interacted, and shared their views and experiences of CEMS. Today the CEMS community comprises 29 schools, more than 70 corporate partners, 5 social partners, over 1,000 CEMS students and now 11,000 alumni from over 75 countries, over 85 nationalities, speaking 60+ languages.
