Our MSc in International Management ranked 7th in the world by Financial Times 2018 Ranking

UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School’s full-time MSc in International Management has been ranked 7th in the world according to the Financial Times 2018 Global Masters in Management (MiM) ranking, published today.

Two further UCD Smurfit School programmes are currently ranked in the Financial Times Top 50 global rankings in 2018 – MSc in Finance (36th) and Smurfit Executive Development Open Enrolment programmes (48th). In addition to this, UCD Smurfit School is also currently ranked 24th in the Financial Times European Business Schools Rankings. By improving its rank by eight places in today’s ranking, UCD Smurfit School joins some of the world’s elite business schools in holding a top ten ranking for the Masters in Management programme. Peer schools include London Business School, HEC Paris and IE Business School Madrid.

In assessing this programme the Financial Times ranking analyses objective criteria including: employability and mobility of graduates; salaries achieved; diversity; and value-for-money.  Among the 100 schools ranked the UCD Smurfit School’s MSc in International Management achieved first position for international mobility. Graduates of the programme surveyed also achieved an average 45% increase in salary within three years of graduation.

In addition to the international rankings, UCD College of Business remains the only business school in Ireland (and one of only 86 worldwide) to hold accreditation from three centres of business and academic excellence: EQUIS (Europe); AACSB (US); and AMBA (UK), having retained the accreditation in May of this year. In doing so UCD College of Business remains accredited alongside some of the world’s elite business schools including: Harvard Business School; IMD; London Business School; Stanford University; INSEAD; and Yale School of Management.
