The Economist ranks UCD Smurfit School's EMBA 57th in the world

The UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) programme has today been ranked 57th globally in The Economist’s prestigious Executive MBA rankings.

The ranking, which is run every two years, sees UCD Smurfit School rise 2 places from the 2018 ranking of 59th in the world. The Economist’s rankings assess the performance of EMBA programmes across the globe and are independently adjudicated in accordance with strict criteria.

Key metrics for The Economist EMBA ranking include quality of faculty teaching the programme, overall programme quality and salary. This year’s rankings saw UCD Smurfit School score highly in multiple categories, in particular quality of faculty, student rating of faculty and teaching quality. This achievement highlights the success of investment in world-class faculty teaching and performing research at the School. Additional growth categories include advances in average salary of EMBA graduates, as well as personal development and educational experience.
