The UCD CEMS Club launched a new initiative designed to highlight career paths and opportunities in the tech sector for students completing the UCD MSc in International Management/CEMS MIM Programme. Tech Tours, which features three intensive days of workshops, presentations, site visits and networking activities, took place from November 30th to December 2nd, gathering leading technology companies based in the Irish capital.

The series of activities offered industry leaders the opportunity to meet and engage with CEMS students and alumni. Representatives from Accenture, DocuSign, Google, IBM, LinkedIn, Microsoft, MongoDB, Oracle, Personio and Workday took part in the innovative programme, meeting with more than 55 students from around the globe.

“Bringing together students and alumni from different schools, the highly engaging programme provides a valuable network for peer advice, mentoring and employment opportunities for current students and graduates of the elite programme,” said event organiser Matteo Linguerri. Linguerri is a student in the MSc CEMS MIM programme at UCD and HEC Paris, as well as the CEMS Student Board Representative for UCD. Team mates Lorenzo Rosati, Louis Collard and Lang SUN were also instrumental in the development of the series.

The programme provides unique and meaningful connections between academia and industry, combining in-class learning and real world expertise of corporate members,” continued Matteo. “This initiative extends the deep connections between the UCD CEMS programme and international business leaders and we anticipate it continuing into the future.”

A sincere thank you to the alumni who gave generously of their time and expertise in establishing the new programme including:
