UCD Smurfit Executive MBA makes historic top quartile placement in QS World University Ranking

UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) programme has been ranked among the world’s best by achieving a ranking of 32nd globally and 15th in Europe in the prestigious QS World University Rankings, Executive MBA rankings.
This is the highest placement ever achieved by the UCD Smurfit School EMBA programme in a global ranking. It is a rise of nine places from the 2019 QS ranking of 41st.
The QS EMBA rankings evaluate performance across five key indicator groups, including Thought Leadership and Career Outcomes. UCD Smurfit School received the strongest scores in the Thought Leadership category achieving a ranking of 33rd globally and 14th in Europe.
Career Outcomes of students also received an outstanding ranking of 37th globally and is based on the average salary increase of students, pre to post-program, and the percentage of the class who receive promotions within 12 months of graduating.
The QS ranking is followed by Monday’s announcement of The Economist’s EMBA rankings which placed the UCD Smurfit School EMBA programme at 57th in the world. The Economist ranking, which is run every two years, sees the programme rise 2 places from the 2018 ranking of 59th.
The rankings demonstrate the consistent international standing of UCD Smurfit School’s Executive MBA programme and places the School within an elite group of global business educators.
