UCD Smurfit School EMBA rises in Financial Times rankings

November 18, 2019 - UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School’s Executive MBA programme is ranked 66th in the world in the prestigious Financial Times Executive MBA ranking. The ranking continues an upward trend for the UCD Smurfit School EMBA over the past three years when the programme was ranked as follows: 2016 (89th), 2017 (74th), 2018 (68th).
The UCD Smurfit School EMBA scored highly in a number of areas, most notably, EMBA graduates surveyed recorded a 62%* average salary increase three years after graduation, equivalent to an average of US$150,447. This indicates a 9% increase from 2018.

The Financial Times EMBA rankings analyse programmes based on several criteria including career progress, work experience, aims achieved, as well as strong gender and international student balance in the class composition.

Salary increase (20): average difference in alumnus salary between before the EMBA and now. Half of this figure is calculated according to the absolute salary increase, and half according to the percentage increase relative to the pre-EMBA salary – the figure published in the table.
