UCD Smurfit School Secures Ireland's Top Spot in Financial Times European Business School Rankings

For the ninth consecutive year the Financial Times has named UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School among the top 30 in Europe. 

Considered the 'ranking of rankings' in terms of measuring business schools’ quality and a range of ranked programmes, the latest FT European Business Schools Rankings place UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School at 21st.

“Our College strategy outlines our vision and ambition to advance as a European-leading centre of excellence for rigorous, relevant, business education and research,” said Professor Anthony Brabazon, Dean of UCD College of Business. "This ranking continues to highlight UCD Smurfit School’s enduring status as one of an elite group of global business educators.”
 
“Supporting this, we are undertaking significant and on-going investment in new faculty, in our physical and digital infrastructure, and in student services in order to provide a truly transformational educational environment for our students."

Considered as part of the 2024 ranking were a number of UCD Smurfit School globally ranked programmes including, the Full-Time MSc in International Management, which is ranked 28th, the Executive MBA which is ranked 81st  and the Full-Time MBA which is ranked 91st .

UCD Smurfit Executive Development achieved a FT ranking of 46th globally for its Open Enrolment programmes and 33rd for Custom programmes.

The individual programme rankings take into account graduate outcomes, including salary and career progress, as well as factors such as quality of research and international and gender diversity of students and faculty.
