The Programme Office, located at the Blackrock campus, is the main point of contact for most of the administrative services students require during their studies.
Each course has a dedicated Programme Manager available to assist and support students throughout their time at UCD Smurfit School.
- Module registration
- Timetable queries
- Advice on extenuating circumstances, leave of absence and withdrawals
- Visa queries and collection of Visa letters
- Out-of-hours access forms
- Official form signing and stamping
- General queries
Due to Covid-19 the Programme Office is currently closed for walk-in appointments. If you would like to schedule a phone call, zoom call, or (in extenuating circumstances) a face to face appointment, please contact your Programme Manager directly.
Before term commences each year, incoming students have exclusive access to a comprehensive incoming student portal, which outlines general information introducing the school and all available services as well as detailed information specific to the courses being undertaken.
The Programme Office hosts an orientation programme for each course during the week prior to start of term, during which students receive guidance on how they can access services on-campus and find their feet so that they can settle into Smurfit School life quickly.
Prior to the Orientation week, the School holds a ‘Welcome to Ireland’ Orientation day for all international students. Events on the day are designed to introduce new international students to the Irish education system, provide support for the settling-in period and enhance integration among students.
