Our role in educating business leaders stretches back over 100 years with the establishment of the UCD Faculty of Commerce  in 1908. Today, UCD College of Business comprises UCD Lochlann Quinn School of Business, UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Smurfit Executive Development and UCD College of Business Global Campus.

In 1964 UCD became one of the first European universities to offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

In 1991, the Graduate School of Business moved to the dedicated campus at Blackrock.

The school is built upon an extraordinary leadership gift from Dr Michael WJ Smurfit. His generosity, and that of our patrons, sponsors, alumni and friends, has enabled us to maintain our position as one of the top European business schools.
