Five UCD Smurfit School Programmes ranked in the global top 50 by QS Business Masters Rankings

UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School once again has five programmes ranked amongst the world’s elite top 50 in the annual QS Business Masters Rankings. These include the MSc in Supply Chain Management (14th), MSc in Marketing programme (31st), MSc in Management (CEMS) (46th), MSc in Business Analytics (44th), and MSc in Finance (48th).
“We are proud to have five of our Masters programmes ranked in the global top 50 of the 2025 QS Business Masters rankings, with only a small number of select Business Schools achieving this,” said Professor Anthony Brabazon, Dean, UCD College of Business.
“The sustained strong performance across our MSc portfolio in terms of student outcomes, employer satisfaction, and academic quality demonstrates the benefits of our multi-year strategic investment in outstanding faculty and programme staff, and student facilities.”
The QS World University Rankings evaluate performance across five key indicator groups including Thought Leadership and Employability. The MSc in Supply Chain Management, received the School’s strongest scores in the Thought Leadership category at 9th in the world and Employability category ranking 10th globally.
“The rankings demonstrate the consistent international standing of UCD Smurfit School’s Masters programmes and places the School within an elite group of global business educators,” said Dean Brabazon. “The continued high ranking in the Thought Leadership category is a significant achievement and enhances our outstanding academic reputation, reflecting the impactful work of our highly research-active faculty.”
UCD Smurfit School’s ranking for the MBA Programme is 40th in Europe.
The QS Global Employer Survey asks employers from which schools they prefer to hire MBA and business school graduates. The survey responses are gathered from across all sectors, types, and geographic regions, including leading business school hiring companies such as McKinsey, Google, Siemens, Airbus, and many more.
