To apply for this programme, please contact Michael Shiel who would be delighted to discuss the application procedure with you further.

A completed application form, digital photograph and copy of transcripts for all university-level degrees (if applicable and excluding those taken at UCD) are required. A telephone or personal interview with the Programme Director may form part of the admission process to help determine whether the programme is the most appropriate solution for the applicant.

In-person programme - This Autumn 2023, our suite of Professional Diplomas will be delivered in-person at Smurfit Executive Development on UCD's Smurfit School Blackrock campus to facilitate the best learning experience for participants. Participants are required to attend in person. In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to facilitate an alternative delivery option but each request will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis by our Programme Director & Programme Management Team.

This programme is suitable for middle or senior managers who currently occupy, or are being groomed for, board memberships, or who carry governance-related positions of responsibility. It is also suitable for executives in organisations who do not have a legal board, but have equivalent governance arrangements. Participants should have at least 5 years management experience and hold a primary degree or equivalent professional qualification. Consideration will be given to applicants who do not hold a primary degree but their depth of industry and organisational experience qualifies them as suitable participants.

The fee of €16,740 or €15,940  (UCD Business Alumni Discount) is a comprehensive cost that includes tuition, all course related materials, lunches and refreshments while on campus.
