• Demonstrate an appreciation for the role of operations, purchasing and logistics, both as functions within an individual firm and the larger sustainable supply chain.
• Illustrate the implementation of sustainable supply chain management principles across a wide range of industries.
• Critically evaluate the intersection and importance of current digital technologies with sustainable supply chain management strategies.
• Evaluate how individual supply chains functions (operations, logistics, purchasing) and contribute to sustainable supply chain performance and competitive advantage.
• Integrate general sustainable operations, purchasing, and logistics management concepts and apply them to specific situations within and between firms.
• Use and apply supply chain tools and techniques to analyse supply chain scenarios to support sustainable decision making.
• Communicate effectively about sustainable supply chain management strategies to ensure that the organisation creates sustainable business value.

Programme Structure

This programme is delivered over a series of 6 two-day workshops within a 9–month period. The majority of workshops are held on Fridays and Saturdays to minimise interference with busy work schedules. 100% attendance is required.

Assessments and Workload

Participants are assessed on a module-by-module basis through a variety of practical assignments. The emphasis throughout the programme is on the practical application of knowledge to benefit the participant, their team and their organisation.
